By downloading the Compario application, creating an account, or connecting external provider accounts, you agree to comply with the terms and rules set forth below.
1) Acceptable Use
Compario helps you compare real, in-app prices across the apps you already use and book or check out in one tap. You agree to use Compario only for lawful, personal price comparison purposes.
- Personal use only: Compario is intended for individual consumers comparing prices for their own groceries, rides and other purchases.
- No resale of data: You may not scrape, resell, or redistribute price data obtained through Compario.
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate account information and not impersonate others.
- Background price checks: To give you a good experience, Compario may refresh prices for the items you check most often, so the app responds quickly when you open it. These checks read only on-screen prices and never access your passwords.
2) Account Connection & Third-Party Services
To compare grocery prices, the app reads prices shown by apps such as Blinkit, Zepto and BigBasket. To access live ride fares, it connects with ride providers such as Uber, Ola, Rapido and Namma Yatri.
- Independent Connection: Connections are voluntary. They use secure on-device OAuth systems. Compario does not store your passwords.
- Terms of Service conflicts: Third-party providers may maintain terms that restrict automated or semi-automated queries. Price checks you trigger in Compario might be subject to these terms.
- Account Risks: Connecting your accounts may cause the provider to flag your account, resulting in warnings, restrictions, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans by the provider. You assume full risk for these outcomes.
- Hand-off booking: Compario does not place orders, book rides or complete purchases on your behalf. You confirm and pay in the provider app as usual.
3) Limitation of Liability
Compario is an independent software developer. We are not associated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket, Uber, Ola, or other third-party providers.
- No Ban Liability: Compario and its operators are not responsible or liable for any direct or indirect actions taken by third-party providers against your accounts, including account suspension or bans.
- Price accuracy: Prices shown in Compario are estimates from provider apps at the time of the check. Final prices are confirmed in the provider app. We are not liable for price discrepancies.
- No Loss Compensation: We will not provide financial compensation for connected provider accounts that are restricted, deactivated, or lose promotional perks.
4) Fair Play & Anti-Fraud Guidelines
We work to ensure Compario serves genuine price comparison needs. Any attempt to abuse the service is prohibited.
- Legitimate Accounts: You may only connect accounts that legally belong to you and contain valid payment/credit profiles.
- Prohibited Actions: The use of Android emulators, screen-clickers, macros, bots, or multiple client installations on a single device to manipulate price checks is strictly prohibited.
- Penalties: Account profiles flagged for fraud, automated manipulation, or security violations will be banned immediately.
